Terminal Cleaning – Medical Office Cleaning

Terminal cleaning or total clean is required in healthcare settings to help control the spread of infections.

Our terminal clean trained staff will divide your facility into three areas with separate cleaning process for each area.

1. Sterile areas (areas behind double doors that are clearly marked)
2. Non-sterile areas (patient contact areas other than sterile areas)
3. Offices and other non-medical areas

Common Terminal Cleaning methods for sterile areas

• Never remove tools or equipment between sterile and non-sterile areas.
• Always wear clean scrubs
• Micro fiber flat mops and cleaning cloths are used for cleaning all surfaces.
• One mop head and one cleaning cloth are used for each operating room or 2,500 square feet of halls and / or work rooms.
• Micro fiber flat mops and cleaning cloths are laundered after each use.
• Do not mix micro fiber products with other soiled laundry.
• Never machine dry micro fiber products heat damages the fibers.
• Use only germicidal disinfectant for all cleaning.
